Returning for an acclaimed live date at the Royal Albert Hall in support of Teenage Cancer Trust in March 2019, strategic and tactical communications support was offered to Doves from November 2018 including the creation of a new biog to direct messaging after a ten year absence, plus press releases and full press office provision.
Following efforts to ensure a celebratory reception amongst UK and international music press for initial announcements, a reissues campaign led by UMC/Virgin to release the band’s first three albums on vinyl gained widespread coverage across all major UK music media, including news and retrospective interview features. As a result, Doves debut album, Lost Souls, returned to the UK album charts twenty years after its initial release and all three took positions 2,3 and 4 in the vinyl album chart during the week of release.
