The Gerald and James exhibition was held during the NYC x Design festival in May 2013. Created by Manchester-based design studio Lazerian and sponsored by British paper manufacturer, James Cropper, Gerald the paper dog was customised by hundreds of artists from around the world. All 101 dogs were exhibited at 60 Reade in New York City.
International press was generated for the exhibition, limited edition DIY dog kits and hardback book on the major US design websites How Design, Fast Company and Selectism. Illustrated news items ran in the Sunday magazine of Spanish quality newspaper El Pais and the French edition of Stylist magazine. Gerald travelled east, hitting the Goood website in Hong Kong. In the UK, featured appeared on Design Week, Creative Bloq, the Wallpaper* app and in Blueprint and Digital Arts magazines.
